Teachings by The Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche at the Summer InstituteThe Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche will be teaching a course on the Ocean of Reasoning by the 7th Karmapa, Chotrak Gyatso. The Ocean of Reasoning is one of the Eight Great Texts for the Kagyu. It is pivotal for Nitartha in that the valid cognition teachings from the Lorik (Classifications of Mind) presented at the first Institute in 1996 were based on this text. To our knowledge this will be the first time that the Ocean of Reasoning will be taught by a Kagyu lineage holder in the West. Rinpoche has given his permission for students who are not attending the full program to attend single, several or all talks. 18 talks on the Ocean of Texts on Reasoning Location: Highland Hall, Western Washington University, Bellingham, WA.
